Statement of Conformance
Cintelis is committed to continually improve its services to our clients, and to understanding plus minimising any adverse impacts on human rights due to our services. Cintelis recognises and accepts its responsibilities to respect human rights and will seek to achieve these commitments through the application of industry specific codes, standards and best practices, related to the provision of security and human rights. Cintelis will operate in conformance with:
1) International Code of Conduct for Private Security Service Providers (ICOC);
2) Montreux Document On Pertinent International Legal Obligations and Good Practices for States Related to Operations of Private Military and Security Companies During Armed Conflict;
3) Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights; Implementing the United Nations ‘Respect, Protect and Remedy’ Framework 2011;
4) Additionally, the Company participates in the UN Global Compact and adheres to the Voluntary Principles for Security and Human Rights
Furthermore, Cintelis is committed to ensuring, to the extent possible, that all of its suppliers, subcontractors and other stakeholders in its operations meet the obligations to human rights as stipulated within the above.
